ϟ Motivational words of a wise boy:

“Work hard in school. If you don’t want to go to school, work hard at your job. If you don’t want to get a job, work hard at becoming amazingly good looking so that someone will want to marry you.” Haha. I guess the lesson is no matter what the situation, always work hard and give it everything you’ve got?

Hi -

Four years ago the number of children around the world who died every day of preventable causes - things like malnutrition, unsafe water, and diseases - stood at 26,000. Recently, UNICEF released figures showing that number has dropped to 19,000 - more than a 25% reduction in the mortality rate of children under 5 years old.

UNICEF has been fighting to bring that number to ZERO. I believe it’s possible. I believe in ZERO - and that’s why I have signed a pledge to stand with UNICEF until ZERO children die of a preventable cause.

Please join me in signing the pledge: https://secure.unicefusa.org/site/Advocacy?cmd=display&page=UserAction&id=214&utm_source=U5MR_TAFe_20120913&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=usf&s_src=20120913_ADV_ZERO_U5MR_Pledge_TAFe

When you sign the pledge by September 19, 1 packet of oral rehydration salts will be rushed to a child at risk from dehydration from life-threatening diarrhea - moving us even closer to ZERO.

I truly believe we can get to ZERO, but only with the commitment and belief of people like you and me.

With hope, and thanks.
